Signs of being in ketosis are relatively simple, but overall a little difficult to achieve although they can boost or fast track your way to successful weight loss.

Having bad breath is nasty, but when you are ketosis, bad breath is a good thing.


Really how does that even work?

Getting a metallic taste in your mouth is a good sign you are in ketosis. You may not want to breathe on anybody this point.

But hey this is a good thing because it means your body is getting ready to drop the extra pounds.

The stinky breath is more of an annoyance rather than a danger. The only thing I can say is to make sure to drinks lots of water.

This was one I watched out for as it would affirm my low-carb eating was going the right way.

Each morning I would get up and pee on the stick. It took about four days for me to get it to change to light purple color.

My euphoria at this turn of events was astounding. I was beyond ecstatic; I was now becoming a fat burning machine.

So mostly your body is trying to process a new way of eating which then causes reactions inside the body which leads to eating less. Which is something we weight losers are always trying to do anyway.

You have the low carb flu

I noticed that this symptom only lasts a few days, but it can be a bit of drag to get past. What I usually do is take an Advil to get over the hump.

It’s a feeling of lethargy as well as being fatigued.

But have no worries going into full ketosis is a process of about one week. Your body is adapting to this new way of eating.

Of course, it’s going to react and rebel.

No carbs mean more energy with less fogginess

This one seems hard to understand because carbs have sugar which gives energy. But upon being scientifically tested ketones have been known to be an excellent source of fuel for the brain.

With the brain getting this excellent source of fuel more energy and alertness are the result.

When carbs are cut, the sugar is eliminated as well. When there is less sugar in the body, blood sugar levels are brought under control. So the sugar crashes stop happening as well.

It’s at the beginning where you will feel fatigued, once you are in full ketosis it just goes away. Make sure you keep an eye on the signs of being in ketosis by using ketostix to optimize your weight loss.

    1. Awesome that you find the keto diet interesting. They are great and plans as well. The coaching is phenomenal. It’s great for those who want to get into shape, now is the time. The reason I like the three-week heater diet is that it takes 21 days to develop a habit. This plan is perfect for developing that habit to keep it going.

Thanks for sharing this health article about ketostix, I have learned from it, I think another signs of ketostix from experience is Short-Term Decreases in Performance, this will bring about low in exercise performance,  It’s primarily caused by the reduction in your muscles’ glycogen stores, which provide the main and most efficient fuel source for all forms of high-intensity exercise. however , after few weeks, they are back to normal
